"Our real enemy is not a neighbouring nation; it's hunger, cold, poverty, ignorance, routine, superstition, and prejudice."
Henry Dunant, FounderIndian Red Cross Society (IRCS) in Paschim Medinipur was established to bring the humanitarian mission of the Indian Red Cross to our district. As a vital part of the national network—rooted in the founding of IRCS in 1920—we extend relief during disasters, advance community health initiatives, and mobilize youth volunteers. Located in Midnapore (Pin: 721101), our Branch ensures timely response to local needs and awareness of global humanitarian principles.
